This forum is a place for filmmakers to share what they’ve learned on set and off. Keep it useful and kind.
the rules
- Be respectful. Disagree with ideas, not people. No harassment, personal attacks, hate speech or threats.
- Stay on topic. Post in the section that fits, and search before starting a new topic.
- No spam or self-promotion. Sharing your own work is welcome when it adds to a discussion; ads, affiliate links and repeated plugs are not.
- Be yourself. Don’t pretend to be someone else, including Rob or any guest of the Getting Made Podcast.
- Respect other people’s work. Only post images, footage or text you have the right to share, and credit others.
- Keep it safe and legal. No advice that puts crews or the public at risk, and nothing illegal. Aerial work should follow local aviation rules.
- No private information. Don’t post other people’s contact details or anything shared in confidence.
Moderators may edit, hide or remove posts, lock threads, and suspend accounts that break these rules. If you see something that shouldn’t be here, use the report link on the post.
privacy note
- Your email address is stored only so you can sign in and reset your password. It is never shown to other members and we don’t share or sell it.
- What’s public: your username, display name, bio, join date, and everything you post.
- Who helps run it: accounts and posts are stored with Supabase, sign-up emails are sent through Resend, and spam checks use Cloudflare Turnstile.
- Deleting your account: email rob@airwolfdrones.com and we’ll remove your account and posts.
